Racks and frames are the steel that data center equipment actually lives in: battery strings in the UPS room, cable and busway drops in the electrical room, coolant distribution units and pumps on the mechanical side, servers and network gear in the hall, and the cages and containment that separate one tenant or one row from the next. They are ordered by the hundreds per campus, they have to arrive on the equipment's schedule, and they have to be identical.
FabTek fabricates racks, frames and rack enclosures to print at our Hazlehurst, Mississippi plants — welded carbon steel and aluminum, or bolted knock-down for shipping density, laser-cut and CNC-formed for repeatable hole patterns, powder-coated in-house, and delivered wrapped and sequenced to the site. Server rack frames are built to EIA-310 rail spacing and 19" or 23" widths where specified. We build the steel; the equipment, the listings and the seismic engineering stay with the equipment OEM and the engineer of record.
