Production laser cutting. CNC Amada press brakes. Voortman robotic plasma. A dedicated powder coat line. Every core capability is under one roof, with galvanizing through long-standing partners.
FabTek's capabilities list isn't a menu of outsourced services — it's a list of machines our team owns, runs, and maintains. That's how we protect lead times, quality, and commitments.
Our core capabilities span the full flow of metal fabrication: cutting, forming, welding, machining, blasting, painting, and assembly. Add to that our transformer coil and circuit assembly capability, and FabTek becomes a single-source partner for OEMs, utilities and EPCs, data center builders and industrial plants — metal and electrical build in one place.
Sheet metal and structural steel fabrication under one roof — from the first review of your drawing to a cut, formed, welded, machined, coated and assembled product.
FabTek Industries is a full-service metal fabricator in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, with the equipment and the people to take sheet metal, plate and structural steel from a customer's drawing to a finished product. Sheet-metal work — cabinets, switchgear enclosures, bus duct housings, panels and doors — runs through fiber laser cutting, CNC press brake forming, automated panel folding, laser and MIG/TIG welding and an automated powder coat line. Structural and plate work — substation structures, tubular steel poles, transformer tanks, skids and platforms — runs through robotic plasma beam coping, a structural drill line, plate plasma cutting, plate rolling, certified structural welding, abrasive blasting, large-part powder coating and hot-dip galvanizing through long-standing partners.
Every group below has its own page, and every major machine or work cell has its own — what it runs, what it cuts, forms, welds or finishes, and what that means for your parts. The groups are listed in the order a job moves through the plant. OEMs, utilities and EPCs, data center builders, industrial plants and other fabricators send us drawings to review, parts to process, and complete products to build.

High-speed, high-precision fiber laser for production cutting of mild metal, stainless, and aluminum. The workhorse of our cabinet line.

Automated CNC panel folder for long skins, doors and enclosure walls — one operator, no handling marks.

Robotic plasma processor for structural profiles — drilling, marking, and cutting beams on a single platform.

Three-spindle high-speed drill line — bolt patterns on all three faces of a beam in one pass, positioned from the structural model.

CNC press brakes for repeatable, tight-tolerance forming — from small enclosure panels to heavier structural bends.

CNC angle line that punches, shears and marks angle and flat bar for clips, braces, stands and cable-tray supports in volume.

Abrasive waterjet cutting for heat-sensitive, exotic, and thick-plate work where lasers or plasma won't do.

Vertical machining centers for precision milling work — brackets, mounting plates, mating features, and finishing passes.

CNC turning for bushings, shafts, and round-stock components that support our cabinet, tank, and structural work.

Production-capacity powder coat line — finishing hundreds of cabinets and enclosures per month without leaving the building.

In-house media blasting for surface prep before paint or galvanizing — a critical step in utility-spec metal finishing.

Production welding cells staffed by certified welders — MIG, TIG, and structural processes, with documentation to match.
Nine capability groups, all under one roof — from the first review of your drawing to a finished, coated, wired and inspected product, for OEMs, utilities and EPCs, data center builders and industrial customers alike.
From light-gauge enclosure metal to heavy structural plate — the material range our customers' products demand, from cabinets and enclosures to tanks and structural steel.
