Backup generation for data centers, hospitals, utilities and industrial sites is sold as a package: engine-generator, controls, fuel, and the enclosure that keeps weather out and airflow right. Genset OEMs and packagers have plenty of engine capacity and not enough enclosure capacity, and an enclosure that ships late holds the whole unit.
FabTek fabricates generator enclosures and genset housings to the OEM's or packager's print at our Hazlehurst, Mississippi plants: welded or bolted steel or aluminum structures, formed panel skins, intake and discharge louvers or hoods sized to the drawing, personnel and service doors, roof exhaust penetrations and silencer supports, and the base-rail interface to the skid or sub-base tank. Powder coat is applied in-house. We build the enclosure to your design — including acoustic panel construction where the packager's design calls for it — not the generator set.
