A PVC belt conveyor is a continuous fabric-reinforced belt tensioned over a drive pulley and a tail pulley, riding on a slider bed or rollers. It runs quiet, carries small and irregular items a roller line would drop, and costs less per foot than modular belting. Its limits are washdown and tracking: the belt is friction-driven and has to be tracked, so it belongs in dry or damp environments rather than hose-down ones.
