The frames, braces, anchorage bases and attachment plates that hold switchgear, UPS, batteries, CDUs and the overhead grid in place when the ground moves — fabricated to the seismic engineer's details and shipped with the equipment they restrain.
In seismic design categories, every piece of equipment and every overhead system in a data center needs engineered restraint: anchorage bases under switchgear and UPS lineups, battery-rack bracing, restraint frames at CDUs and pumps, transverse and longitudinal braces on pipe, tray and busway, and the attachment plates that tie all of it to the structure. The seismic engineer designs it and stamps it; the welded frames, braces, plates and bases on the details are fabrication, and there are hundreds of them on a hall.
FabTek fabricates seismic bracing and anchorage at our Hazlehurst, Mississippi plants: laser-cut plates and brackets, welded restraint frames and anchorage bases, brace assemblies in strut, angle and HSS, and the custom pieces where a standard clip will not fit the structure. Parts are galvanized or powder-coated, tagged to the detail number, and shipped with the racks, skids and overhead grid they restrain.
Welded base frames and anchor plates for switchgear, UPS, PDU and battery lineups.
Rigid restraint frames at CDUs, pumps, tanks and skids.
Transverse and longitudinal braces for pipe, tray, busway and the support grid, in strut, angle or HSS.
Structure-side plates, gussets and clips matched to the building's framing.
Send the seismic details and the equipment schedule; we fabricate each detail number to it.

Data centers in seismic regions and sites that specify seismic restraint regardless of zone; electrical rooms and battery rooms; mechanical galleries; substations and BESS installations; and OEM equipment that ships with anchorage. Developers and GCs buy the anchorage package with the equipment steel; electrical and mechanical contractors buy overhead bracing by the hundreds; equipment OEMs buy bases to ship with their lineups.

Seismic hardware gets inspected. FabTek fabricates every part to the stamped detail it comes from, tags it to the detail number and location, and ships with material and weld records the special inspector will ask for. Where the detail will not fit the real structure, we flag it before fabrication rather than improvising in the field.
Built at four production sites in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.
ISO 9001:2015 quality management, AWS-certified welding, OSHA-compliant facilities.
In-house powder coat backed by an IEEE 2000-hour salt-spray certification.
Reserved-line capacity and the automation to grow with your volume.
No. The seismic engineer designs and stamps it. FabTek fabricates the frames, braces and plates to the stamped details.
FabTek Industries fabricates anchorage bases, restraint frames and brace assemblies at its Mississippi plants, tagged to the detail number, for developers, contractors and equipment OEMs.
Yes. Bases for switchgear, UPS and battery lineups can ship with the enclosures and racks we fabricate, or to the OEM for installation under their equipment.
Material certs, weld records and detail-number tags matched to the engineer's details for the special inspector.
