FabTek builds custom, NEMA-rated switchgear enclosures that keep this critical equipment safe from weather and contaminants while meeting the access, ventilation, and clearance requirements of utility and industrial specifications. They serve utilities, EPC substation projects, industrial plants, and data center power rooms where switching reliability is non-negotiable.
Alongside switchgear enclosures we fabricate custom control cabinets — the multi-bay, louvered housings that hold relays, RTUs, metering, and SCADA equipment at a substation or plant.
Control cabinets carry different demands than a switchgear enclosure. They need ventilation sized to heat load, door-by-door access to separate compartments, sealed cable entries, three-point latching, and mounting provisions that match the panel layout your engineers drew. We build them to your print in carbon steel, stainless, or aluminum, with the same in-house powder coat and IEEE 2000-hour salt-spray finish as the rest of our enclosure work.
Common configurations include single- and multi-bay walk-up cabinets, pad-mount control houses, outdoor weather-rated relay panels, and free-standing cabinets sized to a switchgear lineup.
