Flat bar, punched, formed and finished to the electrical drawing — switchgear and switchboard bus, ground and bonding bars, data center grounding grids and the bar inside the bus duct housings we already build.
Every switchgear lineup, PDU, UPS and bus duct run carries copper or aluminum bar that has to be cut to length, punched to a hole pattern, formed into offsets and risers, and plated or coated to the spec. Data centers add a second scope on top: the grounding and bonding system, with ground bars in every room, bonding bars on racks and tray, and the mesh and risers that tie them to the ground ring. The electrical design and ampacity belong to the engineer; the bar is a precision sheet-metal part, and that is what FabTek makes.
We fabricate bus bar at our Hazlehurst, Mississippi plants: laser and waterjet cutting for clean edges, CNC punching for repeatable hole patterns, press-brake forming for offsets and bends, and plating or insulating coatings through qualified partners. Bar ships loose, kitted by lineup, or installed inside the enclosed bus assemblies and switchgear enclosures we fabricate for the same project.
Main, vertical and ground bus bars cut, punched and formed to the OEM's drawings.
Room ground bars, telecommunications main grounding bars, rack and tray bonding bars with insulators and brackets.
Bar for the non-segregated and overhead busway housings we fabricate, installed where specified.
Formed risers and offsets; flexible and laminated bar sourced and fitted to the assembly.
Tin and silver plating, epoxy or heat-shrink insulation through qualified partners.
Bar kitted and labeled by lineup, section and phase for the OEM's assembly line.

Switchgear, switchboard and panelboard OEMs; bus duct and busway integrators; data center electrical rooms and white space, where the grounding system runs through every room; BESS and inverter enclosures; and industrial power distribution. Our copper procurement coverage explains how we manage material for volume programs.

Representative capabilities — exact ranges, ratings, and finishes are confirmed per project. Send drawings and a spec for a firm quote.
Bus bar fails at the joints. A hole pattern that drifts a sixteenth over a 10-foot bar stacks into a joint that will not bolt up. FabTek punches on CNC equipment from the same CAD file the OEM drew, inspects the first article of every new part against it, and holds the program so repeat releases match. Insulated or plated bar is checked after coating, not before.
Built at four production sites in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.
ISO 9001:2015 quality management, AWS-certified welding, OSHA-compliant facilities.
In-house powder coat backed by an IEEE 2000-hour salt-spray certification.
Reserved-line capacity and the automation to grow with your volume.
Yes. We cut, punch, form and finish copper and aluminum bus bar to the electrical drawing at our Mississippi plants, loose or installed in the bus housings and enclosures we build.
FabTek Industries fabricates room ground bars, bonding bars and grounding-system components to the electrical contractor's or engineer's drawings, kitted by room.
Tin and silver plating and epoxy or heat-shrink insulation are done through qualified partners and inspected here before shipment.
No. The ampacity, spacing and bracing are the engineer's or OEM's. We fabricate to their drawing.
