Our Story

Built on legacy. Scaled for the moment.

Considering today's trying market demands, the Company's strong manufacturing legacy, and energetic management team, FabTek Industries is rapidly scaling production in the US — without compromising service or quality.

FabTek emerged from decades of metal and fabrication know-how in the Jackson, Mississippi region — the kind of hands-on, shop-floor expertise that utilities and EPCs depend on when specs get tight and timelines get tighter.

The company has reinvested aggressively in square footage, equipment, and people since 2024, building a platform purpose-built for the power & utility sector's demand curve: transformer cabinets at scale, structural substation frames, bus ducts for the datacenter boom, and custom metal on request.

Industrial Steel Company

Scaling structural steel, together.

In 2025, we were proud to partner with Industrial Steel Company (ISC) — bringing two complementary fabrication operations under one banner to go after the grid's structural demand at scale.

Led by Greg Sistrunk, ISC brings deep expertise in heavy structural steel: substation support frames, dead-end and A-frame structures, and transmission steel built to utility spec. Pairing that with FabTek's transformer and electrical build makes us a single source across both the metal and the make.

Today the combined team operates as FabTek Industries — scaling our structural substation and transmission business together, with the added capacity, shifts, and shop floor to meet the power & utility sector's growing demand.

Our Approach

Four principles that run the floor.

Every cabinet, frame, and bus duct that leaves our dock is shaped by the same four commitments.

01 · In-House

Everything under one roof.

Cut, bent, welded, painted, and shipped — all from FabTek's own floor. No farmed-out paint lines, no outside welding shops. Quality stays in our hands.

02 · Scale

Planned for volume.

Hundreds of transformer cabinets per month on a single shift — with automation and expansion that keeps lifting that ceiling. Built to flex up when the grid demands it.

03 · Responsiveness

Custom problems. Engineered answers.

Custom problems, engineered solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering complex solutions, collaborating with our customers via long-term partnerships.

04 · Quality

ISO 9001:2015, floor to file.

Certified processes for transformer fabrication, AWS welding standards on structural work, and documentation that holds up to the scrutiny of utility customers and their auditors.

Our Values

What we stand for.

Five principles that show up in every part we ship and every partnership we keep.

Dependability
We hit the dates we commit to — every order, every time. Predictable lead times and proactive updates keep projects on track.
Discipline
Documented process and tight tolerances on every part. Standardized work instructions and stage-by-stage inspection mean nothing leaves the floor unchecked.
Unity
One team, one floor — metal and electrical, start to finish. No handoffs and no finger-pointing, just one crew that owns the entire build.
Community
Rooted in Mississippi and invested in the people who build here. We hire local, train hard, and grow careers from the floor up.
Humility
We listen, we learn, and we let the work speak. No overselling — just honest commitments and parts that prove themselves in the field.
